Popcaan has bought a house in the motherland!
The “Unruly Boss” has expanded his real estate portfolio by buying a house in Ghana.
Popcaan made the announcement in an Instagram post last week while vacationing in Accra, Ghana.
“B*mboclt now. Over Africa, wicked man ting. Mi jus buy mi brand new house over Ghana… Yuh haffi have house everyweh! Puy a who oonu?” Popcaan boldly declared.
“Yuh tink mi ramp! A wha di bmboclt duh dem? Di fk, wi haffi have house in a the motherland too! Some boy only waa have house a Jamaica; oonu f*kin fool!” he added, as members camp chuckled in the background.
The Dancehall superstar had made headlines last weekend after kissing the ground after arriving in Ghana, which is a sign of showing respect.
Popcaan’s visit will be pleasing news to Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, who last year advocated for Jamaicans to “come home.”
In 2019 reciprocal visa-free travel was officially established between the two countries, allowing Jamaicans to travel freely to Ghana.
Popcaan is ranked as the wealthiest Dancehall artiste under 35, with a net worth of approximately US$1.5 million. In 2015 the deejay completed his dream mansion in Jamaica and also possesses a fleet of high-end vehicles valued at millions of dollars.
